Terms & Conditions

“Customer” (“You”) means a person purchasing Products through the Website. “3 Stone Vets” means 3 Stone Veterinary Services Ltd. “Products” means the Products for sale on the Website. “Website” means www.3stonevets.co.nz.

Your use of this Website is limited to personal and non-commercial use only. Should people use the website as part of a business operation, then any Consumer Guarantees Act warranty is not provided and we reserve the right to limit quantities and/or refuse service at our discretion.

3 Stone Vets endeavours to supply accurate information on the Website but errors and omissions do occur. 3 Stone Vets does not accept any liability, whether directly or indirectly, arising from the use of any information contained in the Website. This exclusion does not limit your rights which cannot be contracted out of, such as under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

We will try to make our website available but cannot guarantee that it will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free, and accept no liability for its unavailability. You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of our website. By using our website, you accept and agree to our Privacy Policy.

New Zealand law governs the information and services provided through this Website.

All prices are shown in NZ dollars and are given inclusive of GST (15% sales tax) and exclude delivery charges.

3 Stone Vets reserves the right to correct the price at any time prior to delivery where there has been a typographical or other error in the advertised price. We will notify you of the corrected price; you may choose to pay it, or we may cancel your order and refund any amounts paid. In the event of a genuine pricing error, we will not be obliged to honour the sale.

To order a product you will need to follow the ordering procedures set out on our website. If the Products you ordered are unavailable for delivery within thirty (30) days of the date of order, we will notify you by email and offer you a refund and/or an alternative. 3 Stone Vets only delivers to an address within New Zealand. Minors under the age of 18 years are prohibited from making purchases on the website.

You will receive an email notification containing your invoice within 1 to 3 working days from the time you place your order.

For your convenience you may create an online shopping account. Only one account is permitted per individual. It is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, and to let us know immediately if you believe your password has become known to anyone else.

Payment will be made by the Buyer using one of these methods: Direct Bank Transfer and PayPal. The purchase price for goods ordered is due when you place your order. No order will be dispatched until payment is cleared.

3 Stone Vets delivers the Products ordered to the address specified in the online order, within New Zealand only. We endeavour to dispatch orders within 1-3 days after payment has cleared. Parcels are sent from Te Awamutu, Monday to Friday, via courier. A courier charge of $3.50 per order applies (1-3 day delivery). Rural Delivery may add a day or two at no extra charge.

On delivery you may be required to sign for the Product. Please inspect it for any obvious faults, defects or damage before signing, and keep your receipt. You must notify us within 7 days of the dispatch date if you have not received an item. If the Product delivered is not what you ordered, is not of satisfactory quality, or is not fit for a purpose notified to us in writing before you ordered, 3 Stone Vets will, at its option, deliver a replacement or refund the price paid and your reasonable costs of returning the Products. You must notify us within 7 days of the dispatch date to receive your refund. Products must be returned unused, in original packaging, with any free or promotional items that accompanied them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, descriptions, representations or conditions implied by law, trade, custom or otherwise. Where goods are advertised with reference to photographs, we will endeavour to deliver the corresponding goods but do not warrant they will be identical to those displayed. Our liability for any claim related to the supply of goods or services is limited to the cost paid by you for such goods or services. We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage, or loss of profits, data, savings or opportunity arising from your use of our website.

We place great value on customer satisfaction. You may contact us at any time using the contact details in these Terms and Conditions. We will attempt to address your concerns as soon as possible.

No one under the age of 13 years is allowed to provide any personal information. Minors under the age of 18 years are prohibited from making purchases on the website.

Nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or affect your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, to the extent that such limitation or contracting out is prohibited by that Act.

These terms and conditions are personal to you and are entered into for your own benefit and not for the benefit of any third party. You agree that 3 Stone Vets may send marketing materials via email from time to time, and we will immediately stop if you request it. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, so we recommend you review them each time you visit the website.
