WelFarm Herd Monitoring

WelFarm is a web-based herd health and wellbeing programme that works on a simple principle: measure, manage and monitor. We look after the data gathering - some of it on farm, some brought together from other sources - and enter it into the WelFarm portal.

Your results are benchmarked against other farms regionally and nationally, which gives the numbers real context. We know the value of benchmarking the financials in a farm business, so it makes sense to benchmark your herd too.

Through the season we score body condition around calving, before mating, after mating starts and around dry-off, along with locomotion scoring. After each touchpoint we add feedback and recommendations, and each year we sit down with you to review the results and plan ahead.
