Established in 2013 to service the needs of their own cows, Daniel and Katie’s business has grown.
What is the ethos of 3 Stone Vets? Director and Veterinarian Katie explains: “3 Stone Vets is an entirely locally family owned business”. Katie’s husband Daniel grew up in Te Awamutu and so did several generations before him. “We really understand our community, its needs and its desire to have veterinary care at a sensible cost. Our clients appreciate our desire to provide treatment that best fits their animal, and we work in conjunction with owners to provide the best, most appropriate care”.
“We farm locally and understand the day-to-day realities of farming. When you phone for a vet on farm we understand what you need and aim to deliver high quality service. Large or small our aim is to treat your animal in the best possible way, exactly how we would want our own animal treated”.
Our business is about animals and people and we want everyone to feel welcome in our practice. Our fresh, friendly waiting room with children’s area, separate cat and dog waiting means everyone can enjoy a relaxed trip to the vets.
We do not have huge sales stands in our waiting room; waiting rooms are for owners and their pets. You can be confident that any medication, treatment, ointment, shampoo, tablet, food, remedy that is recommended by any one of our team, is recommended specifically and only for the benefit of your animal.
3 Stone Vets is a success story; an expanding and progressive NZVA Best Practice Accredited clinic with a proud farming history and strong local roots. 3 Stone Vets style of veterinary treatment will suit your animal (large or small) perfectly! We’d be delighted to meet you, your pets and farm animals too!
