Leaving your cat while you're away can be stressful - for both of you. A good cattery makes all the difference. Here's what to look for.
Your cattery checklist
- Who's caring for your cat? Qualified vet nurses beat untrained minders
- Is a vet on hand if your cat becomes unwell during their stay?
- Is the accommodation cat-friendly, calm and climate-controlled?
- What food is offered, and will they cater for special diets or medication?
- Will you get updates while you're away?
- Are there discounts for siblings or long stays?
Why a vet-clinic cattery is different
A cattery attached to a veterinary clinic gives you something home-boarding and standalone catteries can't: if anything goes wrong, a vet is right there. For older cats or cats on medication, that peace of mind is worth a lot.
Our boutique cattery is deliberately small and quiet, with ISFM cat-friendly, air-conditioned accommodation and premium Royal Canin food - because a calm environment is what cats actually want.
