How it works

1. Enter

Snap a photo (or a video) and tell us why your cat is the greatest cat in Waipa. Entries close 12 October.

2. Top 10

Our judges shortlist 10 finalists — officially the hardest job in Waipa.

3. Public vote

The finalists go live and all of Waipa votes for their favourite feline.

4. Crowned

The winner is revealed on 1 November — golden collar, tiny hat and eternal glory included.
