Description
Frontline Plus for Cats is a convenient spot on flea and tick treatment which kills fleas for 6 weeks (active ingredient: Fipronil).
Frontline Plus for Cats is fast acting and starts to kill fleas within just 24 hours and targets all stages of the flea cycle (prevents eggs from developing, larvae and pupae which breaks the flea lifecyle). Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles meaning it is continually released from the hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity against fleas, ticks and chewing lice. The product is water resistant from 48hrs after application meaning you can bath or shampoo your pet after this time.
Frontline Plus for Cats can be used in cats and kittens over 8 weeks of age and in breeding, pregnant or lactating queens.
Please note it’s normal to continue to see fleas on your pet after treatment as new adult fleas continue to hatch out from pupae in the environment. These new fleas will be killed within 24 hours of jumping onto your treated pet. If you have any questions please contact us directly or speak with your local veterinarian.
