Description
Popantel® F is a treatment for gastrointestinal parasites of dogs. Popantel® F is effective against susceptible intestinal helminths including:
Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina)
Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala)
Tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum (common flea tapeworm), Taenia ovis (sheep measles), T. pisiformis, T. hydatigena and Echinococcus granulosus (hydatid tapeworm)).
Popantel® F is given as a single dose by mouth immediately before or with a meal. Fasting prior to dosing is NOT necessary.
ADULTS (over 6 months): Treat every 3 months. Dogs heavily infested with roundworms, hookworms or whipworms may require retreatment after 14 days. Treat every 4 weeks in sheep measles (T. ovis) infected locations. PREGNANT / LACTATING BITCHES: Treat prior to mating, then 10 days before whelping and at 2 and 4 weeks after whelping.

up to 5kg: 1/2 a tablet
5.1-10kg: 1 tablet
10.1-20kg: 2 tablets
